

Provider Eligibility Requirements
WHICH AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS ARE ELIGIBLE?

The program must be operated by a public or private nonprofit organization or certain for-profit organizations.

Program sites must be located in an area served by a school in which at least 50% of the enrolled children are eligible for free or reduced-price meals.

The program must provide afterschool care with regularly scheduled educational or enrichment activities that are structured and supervised.

A license or proof of licensure exemption is required.

Sites where programs are offered must meet state and local health and safety standards.
